An attempt to be helpful

I’ve not posted in a while. Been busy with treatment, paying for treatment, and actually a little real life thrown in. Yay! 😉

So here I hope to be informative. Below are links and things to check out about Lyme:

ILADS -the international Lyme people. Their website has tons of information http://www.ilads.org/

Financial Assistance for Lyme testing, Lyme patients, and transportation for medical reasons- http://lyme.kaiserpapers.org/financial-assistance.html (this is where I found LymeTAP.com who reimbursed me 75% of the cost of my Lyme testing at Advanced Laboratories -the one test that finally showed I really do have Lyme disease; This is also where I began the search that led me to the link to Mercy Medical Angels, who arranged for a flight for me to see my specialist in Maryland)

My specialist’s office: Optimal Health Physicians  in Rockville, MDhttp://ohpmd.com/welcome/whoweare.html

Documentary about Lyme –Under Our Skin and the sequel, Under Our Skin 2 Emergence

A few facebook groups, since a support group is hard to keep meeting when most lymies are too sick to actually get togethr very often:

LDN group (I’ve considered getting on LDN, but have not yet) -lots of helpful comments about how to deal with strange and tough illness, and “off the wall” medications.

Lymers group -info, and a way to connect with others fighting this thing

1,000 Letters Lyme group -trying to send letters to doctors who won’t or don’t treat Lyme.

I’m praying for each of us who need healing. And for the journey we go on to get there.

May the Lord bless you and keep you and make His face shine upon you (even in your darkness!) and be gracious to you. He has plans for you to give you hope and a future. (See Jeremiah 29:11 and Numbers 6:24-26).
